Hi, I’m Andrea, the founder of Step Into 7 and an experienced educator who has been teaching since 1998.

Throughout my career, I have supported students academically and emotionally, including working as a Year 7 Coordinator and helping young people successfully transition from primary to secondary school.

I understand that starting Year 7 can feel exciting but also overwhelming, with new teachers, subjects, timetables, friendships and expectations to manage.

I created Step Into 7 to provide caring, practical and personalised support that helps students build confidence, organisation and independence—so they can begin secondary school feeling prepared, reassured and ready to thrive.
